Icelandic Fisheries Ministry issues permit to kill endangered fin whales

Oh hi everyone. Turns out Iceland decided it is a good idea to issue commercial whaling licenses, 9 of the 39 licenses are for endangered fin whales…bah! Do what little you can by sending a message to the Icelandic government via Greenpeace's webpage: http://www.greenpeace.org/international/news/iceland-resumes-commercial-wha
The link is to an article explaining the situation; at the bottom of the article is a link to "lend your voice". Everybody who reads this, please do so.
This makes me grumpy
